As to your question (though I know it was rhetorical) of “Are there better things that I can do with my time than being a Freemason? “…I think the fact that you are reflecting upon your current state answers the question. You are seeking to be a better man. That doesn’t always have to fall in sync with symbolic or esoteric discussion, but as a Freemason you are on a continual path to seek More Light….you are working to be the best that you can be for yourself and your family…that is what it is all about, right?
